For a food revolution in Aligarh!
Dining out was never so much fun with the countless choices of food that you get at one destination in Aligarh. Amritsari Zaika in Aligarh is revelling in the glory of the kind of food and services what it boasts of.
Govind Singh, a native of Aligarh, was not really happy with the food options that were available around the city’s railway station. He himself being an avid traveller had a tough time finding out healthy food options around. This motivated him to initiate and start a restaurant service that could offer tasty and healthy food to the people. And hence in February 2015, Amritsari Zaika was started.
Amritsari Zaika is a multi-cuisine restaurant that offers that serves a variety of food options. From the appetising Lassi to Malai Chaap, from Paneer Butter Masala to Dal Makhani, all food items are worth trying. With the help of 9-member kitchen team, the restaurant serves almost 100 visitors in a day. It has a sitting capacity of 25 people in its premises.
This restaurant has recently started its services of offering food to train travellers and by far, it has been successfully delivering food to the rail travellers.
“It is our sole responsibility to deliver hygienic food and services to the people on the train. And with our 2 member delivery team, we make sure to fulfil those expectations”, shares Mr Singh, owner of Amritsari Zaika.
साफ-सुथरे एवं स्वादिष्ट भोजन की गारंटी
पिछले 51 सालों से अलीगढ़ में होटल का कारोबार करने वाले गोविन्द सिंह को अपने होटल में मेहमानों के लिए रेस्टोरेंट सुविधा उपलब्ध ना होने का मलाल नहीं हुआ। मगर जब कुछ सालों से उनके होटल में ठहरने वाले मेहमानों ने आस-पास के रेस्टोरेंट में मिलने वाले भोजन की शुद्धता एवं स्वाद की शिकायत उनसे की और होटल में ही रेस्टोरेंट शुरू करने की बात कही तो गोविंद सिंह उनकी इस सलाह को नजरअंदाज नहीं कर सके। इसके बाद फरवरी 2015 में गोविंद सिंह ने अपने होटल में ही अमृतसरी ज़ायका नाम से एक रेस्टोरेंट शुरू कर दिया।
नौ लोगों की अनुभवी किचन टीम और 70-100 लोगों के बैठने के पर्याप्त इंतजाम के साथ ही यहां मिलने वाले मल्टी क्वीज़ीन व्यंजनों के ज़ायकों ने ना सिर्फ होटल के मेहमानों की शिकायत को दूर किया, बल्कि रेस्टोरेंट धीरे-धीरे अलीगढ़ शहर के लोगों का भी पसंदीदा रेस्टोरेंट बन चुका है। यहां के मलाई चाप और पनीर बटर मसाला का स्वाद रेस्टोरेंट की शान माना जाता है। वहीं रेस्टोरेंट की पंजाबी लस्सी का स्वाद किसी को भी घंटों तरोताज़ा रखने के लिए काफी है।
गोविंद सिंह का कहना है कि अमृतसरी ज़ायका की शुरूआत के साथ ही होटल के मेहमानों और अलीगढ़ शहर के लोगों को इसका फायदा मिलना शुरू हो ही गया था। मगर रेस्टोरेंट का अलीगढ़ रेलवे स्टेशन से सटे होने के बावजूद रेलयात्रियों को इसके साफ-सुथरे एवं लजीज़ व्यजनों का लाभ नहीं मिल पा रहा था। जिसके लिए रेस्टोरेंट ने अपनी सेवाओं का विस्तार करते हुए रेलयात्रियों के लिए भी भोजन सुविधा शुरू कर दी है। फिलहाल यहां दो लोगों की डिलिवरी टीम है। साथ ही रेस्टोरेंट द्वारा रेलयात्रियों को प्रदान की जाने वाली भोजन संबंधी प्रतिक्रिया लेना भी शुरू कर दिया गया है।
